A LOT IS GOING ON AT DYNAMIC CORVETTES!

The 1978 Silver Anniversary

Customer brought us a 1978 Silver Anniversary Corvette which her father has owned since new. Determined to get it on the road and enjoy the car this summer, she brought it to the experts! Upon inspecting the vehicle, we determined that the front suspension needed to be overhauled along with the power steering components and tires. Pictured below, Ed has already torn down the front suspension and started replacing bushings and ball joints. He has also replaced the power steering control valve, ram, idler arm, and hoses.

The 1960

This 1960 Corvette is just days away from being put into it’s first coat of primer. The front end of the body has been completed, only a few more areas on the rear, deck, and trunk to work on and it will be “PRIME TIME”!

The 1965

The 1965 Corvette is fresh out of the paint booth with it’s coats of base and clear! Just look at that shine!! After unmasking the entire car and rolling it out of the paint booth, the guys then painted the remaining parts. Lastly, Al is wet sanding the entire finish in preparation for buffing and polishing with rubbing compound.

The 1978

The 1978 Corvette Pace Car is coming into the home stretch and being assembled for delivery. The front and rear bumpers have been installed, along with the interior carpet. Ed has also installed the new rocker moldings and new replacement door glass!

The 1962

The 1962 Corvette is literally a day away from being rolled in to the paint booth and have its final coat of primer applied. Pictured you can see Corey and Tyler working hard on getting every single body panel smooth and wet sanded.

The 1960

The 1960 Corvette Barn Car is in the home stretch as well! Most of the exterior chrome trim has been installed. The newly restored carburetor and brand new air cleaner have been installed. Josh has also hooked up all of the under dash wiring, heater duct work, and heater controls. A new stereo has been installed which is an aftermarket reproduction that looks just like the original but has updated features like digital tuning and an auxiliary input jack for hooking up your iPod. Currently, the guys are sandblasting, cleaning, priming, and painting the seat frames and springs. Once the new seat covers and foam comes in, the covers will be mounted followed by the carpet being installed.
