1963 Corvette RestoMod
The Detroit Autorama 2016 was a smashing success! Thank you to all that came out and introduced yourselves while looking at the car! The owner and ourselves are all very proud of how well she did at the show.
1st Place – Mild Sport Class from Autorama
Outstanding Award – Sports / Sport Compact from the International Show Car Assocation
Thursday morning, with the wind blowing and snow flying, the owner and Corey jumped in the truck and took the car to Cobo Hall.
After braving the snow storm, they got the car inside and started to set up the display.
1978 Corvette
Customer had brought us his vehicle last summer for brake issues. We replaced the master cylinder and power brake booster, but he has returned to have some other items repaired. First, Ed removed the hood for easier engine compartment access. He started to remove items to get to the radiator core support and remove the radiator pet cock to drain the coolant. After draining the coolant and getting everything out of his way, he was ready to remove the radiator followed by the support. He also cracked open the transmission pan and replaced the gasket and filter.
1959 Corvette
Ed has completed the fiberglass repairs on the 1959 Corvette. The owner has started to ship us his exterior moldings and trim for us to start perform body work.
1954 Corvette
Tyler has been working hard on the 1954 Corvette, perfecting the lines and filling where required.
1980 Corvette
Ed has started to fit the bumpers along with some assistance from Corey. After the bumpers have been fitted and look perfect, they will remove the bumpers and prep them for paint along with the body.
