1963 CORVETTE RESTOMOD
The owner has been working hard on the 1963 Corvette RestoMod. As you can see, his new dash is completed and wrapped in leather. The dash was completed by General Top & Trim. He has installed the Detroit Speed headlight actuator kit which allows the headlights to pop open quickly like a C4. He has also wired up and installed the Detroit Speed wiper motor kit, which allows him features as delay and pulse.
As an authorized retailer for Detroit Speed, we can obtain and install these items for you!
Steve is doing some finishing touches to the custom air cleaner assembly before it we make a mold and produce a fiberglass part.
2002 CORVETTE
The 2002 Corvette is making progress. The new panels are in the process of being painted. Once they are completed, Ed and Corey will wet sand and rub the pieces.
After repairing the collision work, we will then address some customer concerns such as a dim heater control and “pegged” oil pressure gauge.
1959 CORVETTE
Ed has continued to work on the 1959 Corvette. He removed the old passenger side fender cap and found that the inner skirt supports were rotted and rusting away. This being the perfect time to replace these supports since we are in there, the customer agreed to move forward with replacing them. The old door skin was removed, the door shell was repaired, and the new door skin installed and bonded. Ed has started to dry fit the new fender cap in preparation for the final fit and bonding.
