1963 Corvette RestoMod
The RestoMod is making more great progress on the body. As you can see in the photos, Steve and Corey have been hard at work making the close out panels for the inner fender skirts. After the close out panels were fitted and adjusted so they were perfect, Steve bonded them onto the inner fender skirts and started his magic of making them flush and even with the rest of the inner fender. Once the close out panels were installed, Steve worked on the driver side inner fender skirt and closed out the unneeded cutaways for the old clutch and steering systems. This gives the inner fenders a nice matching appearance on each side. Steve has also bonded in our new firewall close out panel to the car.
1960 Corvette
Ed is cracking away at the 1960 Corvette to get her finished before it gets really cold. As you can see the new fuel tank and sending unit have been installed, along with the dash and instrument cluster. Followed by the interior carpet, weatherstrips, wiring, and mounting the doors.
1962 Corvette
The 1962 Corvette went home a few weeks ago but came back last week for it’s hardtop! Ed completely disassembled the hardtop and sent the hardtop to the paint shop to be painted. He then replaced all of the weatherstripping, buffed and polished all of the stainless steel trim and then reassembled the entire top.
1979 Corvette
The owner dropped off his Corvette asking for a complete safety inspection in which we found that the entire rear suspension was bad. Worn out bushings, weak spring, rusting trailing arms. We will be doing a rear suspension over haul this week on this vehicle. Should be a quick project!
Last but not least….
A few months ago, Dynamic Corvettes and the Old Town Motorfest board presented a check to the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 154 as a donation for all the great work they do for veterans in the community. They were so gracious, they presented us with a lovely plague last week!! We were so surprised that we also donated some of our “RED FRIDAY” t-shirts for the chapter administration staff!
